ooc: I AM LOLING SO HARD, ASK REMUS
(Source: evangelizer, via scarymerry)
Regulus had been, more or less, stalking Fenrir for half of the day. He’d been away when he’d spoken with Regulus, but now he had tracked the man down again in the halls. He followed silently, then when they rounded a corner into a completely empty hallway he trotted up behind…
“You’re one to talk, you snake,” Regulus almost hissed, gripping a fist though he did not advanced any farther on the student. He wasn’t here to fight. He was here to talk. “What’s wrong with Remus? Ever since you set foot in this place he’s been acting weird, and today he looks sick. I want to know why. He refuses to tell me, so I thought I’d come to the source.” He looked Fenrir up and down with disgust, refraining from spitting on the other’s shoes like he wanted to.
Fenrir looked Regulus over. What a stupid, pompous wizard. They were worse than muggles. But he looked as though he wanted to fight. The look of utter disgust on his face was amusing. Fenrir found himself shaking uncontrollably. with laughter. And he barked it out loudly, the sound cold and without amusement though Fenrir could not stop himself.
“What?” Regulus looked shocked for a moment at the laughter, but his stunned expression quickly turned to one of pure anger. “What the hell do you think you’re laughing at? What the fuck is going on, Fenrir? Tell me now!”
“So protective!” Fenrir said in a taunting singsong voice. “What is Remus to you? He’s your brother’s boyfriend! You should just butt out of his business,” Fenrir said pinching Regulus’ cheek. “I’m taking excellent care of him, as only another one of us could. I’m the best thing to happen to him in years.”
“I’m his friend,” Regulus retorted, flinching at the touch on his cheek and pulling his face away violently. He was practically baring his teeth at Fenrir now. “Best thing to happen to him? Hah! I saw him not too long ago and he looked like a ghost. What have you done to him? And what do you mean ’ another one of us’?”
“You didn’t know? He didn’t tell you?” Fenrir said faking a shocked expression, still choking out laughs. “I’m a werewolf too. And I’m teaching him to properly care for himself. And if you know what’s good for you, you’ll back off.”Fenrir said changing completely. His eyes darkened and his smile turned ruthless cold and unfeeling. His teeth seemed too bright on his dark face and he glared at Regulus from the top of his eyes. “You might like throwing your weight around, Mr. Black, but you would do good to remember your place. And keep in mind with whom you use that tone.”
Regulus was unmoved. This man was evil, he could sense it, and he could see it in his eyes. And he was moving in on Remus - hurting him, for all he knew. When he opened his mouth next there was almost an audible growl in his voice. “Keep in mind who you’re playing with, beast. Remus is a saint compared to most, he doesn’t need help from the likes of you for anything. And I’m not the only one who cares for him. He might not be mine, but if you lay a finger on him and he doesn’t like it you will answer to me and everyone else who is with me. And trust me, Fenrir,” He spat out the name like it was poisonous, “That’s plenty of people. I don’t think even a werewolf can stand up against a group of wizards. Not even with the full moon.”

Right, that’d be something I’d do if I were you -laughs- Regulus? Feel better, alright? -turns his head to the door and leaves-

Why do you have to love him so much, Regulus? //mumbles angrily to himself and bites down on his lower lip// Why can’t Sirius just treat Remus how I would? To see him happy… //trembles slightly and bites back a sob// That’s all I want for him…
